There has been a good deal of moving around this week in our little village. Mr. Marvin Davis, our school superintendent, has purchased the old Neathery homestead and will make his home among us. Mr. Arthur Conner has purchased and moved into the home recently owned and occupied by Mr.S.F. Garland's family. Mrs. Annie Scott, nee Dixon, has moved into a house of the Judd addition. Mr. Reynolds has moved back to the house owned by Mrs. Finnell. Misses Monta and Cordelia Crawford spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Crawford. Their little brother is not able to be out yet. Mrs. J.B. Farr of Donna is spending the week at the home of her son, W.D. Farr. Brother McCraw filled his regular appointment Saturday night and Sunday at the Baptist church. He will give that church one half time now. The B.Y.P.U. county convention will meet with the B.Y.P.U. at this place April 9-11. The new seats have been installed and we hope to have the varnishing done in time for this convention. Mrs. Duke of Pike visiter her mother, Mrs. D.H. Roden, Sunday. Some fine boys have arrived at the home of Messrs. R.C. Hayle and Jim Robertson. Both mothers and babies are doing fine. Mr. Clark Meeks, late of Oklahoma, is now back in the good old U.S.A. and is expected to visit relatives and friends here in a very few days.
