PILOT GROVE
Water hauling is the order of the day, and night also, here.
Most of the men and boys went to Whitewright Monday afternoon or Monday night to see the wreck of the fire.
Lon Binion's egg and chicken house has been moved across Main Street and has been made into an ice and cold drink stand.  Louis Garland and Elma St. John, proprietors.
As a result from a three days sawing last week, Mr. McSpadden has the finest lot of bois d'arc fellows I have ever seen.  Mr. McSpadden began thrashing Monday morning.
Miss Mabel Conway is visiting her sister here, Mrs. Jennie Garland.
The Baptist's Childrens Day service will be held here next Sunday night.
Mrs. Dr. Viser left Saturday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Self, in Arkansas.

PILOT GROVE
Mrs. D.C.H. Bradford and son of Henrietta, Oklahoma spent several days last week with her sister, Mrs. Jennie Judd.
School began here Monday with Mr. Jackson as teacher.
Miss Annabell Viser began her school at Desert Monday.
Chas. Barrett moved his family from the Methodist parsonage last week to the Drye Neathery place, belonging to Stanley Garland.
