Pilot Grove News
Summer gardens are flourishing - no lack of plenty of fresh vegetables every day.
The revival meeting began at the Baptist Church Wednesday night, and in order to accomodate the crowds, was moved to the tabernacle Monday.
Rev. J.A. Henderson had a reunion at his home Sunday, honoring his father, who is visiting here from east Texas, and who was 80 years old Sunday.   Two brothers, Will and Cecil Henderson, from Oklahoma and other relatives were present.  Rev. I.E. Teague preached at the home Sunday afternoon.
Tom Orr of Waggoner, Oklahoma, was a guest of S.T. McSpedden and family last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Lois Meeks of Tulsa, Oklahoma, visited relatives here last week.
Miss Beatrice Garland of Slaton visited her aunt, Mrs. S.F. Garland, last week.
Misses Lois and Lorene DeBerry of Whitewright spent the week-end here with their cousins, Misses Virginia and Anna Joyce Benson.
Mrs. Annie Wilson returned from Denison Sunday, where she visited relatives since Thursday.
Misses Wynema Moran of Bells, Velma Caraway of Whitewright and Annie Mae and Nina Ball of Tom Bean visited relatives here last week.
D.M. Taylor was a Dallas visitor Tuesday.
