 The Whitewright Sun Pilot Grove NewsFriday, March 22, 1912 pg. 6 PILOT GROVE Rev. Mooney, the county missionary, preached a very interesting sermon at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon. Dr. Norman and family of Trenton were the guests of Bush Davis and family Sunday. George Bennett and Miss Bennie Hopkins of Whitewright were here Sunday. Rev. Ownby filled his regular appointment here Sunday morning and night. Quite a number of people from Rose Hill, Cannon, Sedalia and Bethel were here attending preaching Sunday afternoon. Mr. Ira Davis, who was killed at Whitewright by a live wire the 7th was buried here the 8th. He leaves a wife and little son, two sisters, three brothers, and a host of relatives to mourn their loss.
