Thursday, April 21, 1932 pg. Pilot Grove News Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Scott of Cedar spent the week-end here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. John Hopper and family of Howe and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Grammer of Van Alstyne spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Shad Neathery. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Andrew of Van Alstyne spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.B. Andrew. Mrs. Morton Ashinhurst and daughter, Paige, spent Thursday in Tom Bean. Mr. and Mrs. Kimbrue Jenkins of Leonard and Mr. and Mrs. Buster Aldridge of Trenton were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Caraway Sunday. Billie Hopper is spending a few days in Bells visiting in the home of Mrs. Willie Moran. Miss Mary Judd and son, Ralph, and Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Judd spent the week-end in Seminole, Oklahoma. Reed Aldridge of Leonard visited friends here Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Robinson and Miss Esther Walker were in Sherman Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Burkhalter and grandmother, Mrs. Mason, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burkhalter of Canaan. Miss Ora Bell spent the week-end in Cannon with Mr. and Mrs. John Sweeney. Miss Ina Garland gave a party Friday night in the home of Mr. and Mrs. S.F. Garland. Everyone had a nice time. Ben Bow and son, Ted, returned home Friday from Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Ted is doing fine at this time. Mrs. Johnie Raynolds [sic] is spending a few days in Leonard with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Henderson.
