Thursday, June 30, 1916 pg. 4 PILOT GROVE NEWS Miss Fay Henderson of Sherman is visiting her sister, Mrs. Eula Ashinhurst. Mrs. Annabell Finnel and mother of Tom Bean visited here Saturday. Prof. A.H. Maxey of Wills Point is visiting friends here. The little son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Travis Cato have been ill for several days. Mrs. Joe Garland left Monday for west Texas, where she will visit her son, John Garland. On account of the rain the special program for Rally Day at the Baptist church has been postponed until next Sunday, July 2nd, at which time the program will be carried out just as it was published for last Sunday. All church people and neighboring Sunday schools are invited to come and spend the day in worship with us. There will also be a baptising in the afternoon. Miss Dorthae Mangrum of Randolph has been visiting relatives here. Miss Edith Neathery of Canon [sic] spent Sunday and Monday in Pilot Grove.
