Pilot Grove News

Miss Jimmie Fae Sumner visited relatives in Greenville last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Tucker visited the latter's sister, Mrs. B.H. Garland, Saturday and Sunday.
Mrs. Peters and children are visiting at Mrs. McSpedden's this week.
Dalton Hulett is visiting his uncle, Burr Hulett, at this place.
Mr. and Mrs. George Parish of Elmont visited the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Judd, Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith and little son Garland visited the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.F. Garland, Monday and Tuesday.
Misses Edith Ward and Eliza Ashinhurst of Wareaka, Oklahoma, are here on an extended visit with relatives.
Miss Bessie Burks and Mr. James Brown were united in marriage Sunday a week ago.  We wish for them a prosperous life.
Miss Callie Taylor, who has been real sick, is much better, and is able to attend church.
Miss Mayme Butts returned last week after a visit with relatives in Dallas.
Mrs. J.F. Merritt is back on an extended visit with friends here.  Her many friends are glad to see her and have her with us again.
Mr. Birt Dennis and son, Doyle, who is working near McKinney, was here last week-end.  Carder [sic] Judd returned with them to work.
Mrs. Bessie Rhodes visited her mother, Mrs. Davis, at Elmont last week.
The Methodist meeting is in good progress with Bro. Baker of Van Alstyne conducting.
