Thursday, August 8, 1912 pg. 7 McComb To the Democrat: McComb, August 5 - We had a nice shower over this part of the community Monday morning and everything is looking fine. Most all the people are through threshing in this part of the community. There are several cases of sickness in this community. Several of the young people from Lone Star attended church at Macomb [sic] Sunday night. Mrs. J.N. Young has been real sick for the past few days. Irene Cox spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. J.N.
