LUELLA

To the Democrat:
Luella, Tex., Aug. 22 - The Baptist revival is now in progress, being conducted by Pastor Durham and Rev. Ayers.  All are most cordially invited to attend both the morning and the evening services.
Mrs. Pickel, who has been critically ill the past 10 days is greatly improved at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. Job and daughter, Miss Maude, from west Texas visited H.L. Groper and family and other relatives last week.
Misses Annie and Vera Pierce and Maude Raney of Sherman spent Sunday the guests of Misses Aline and Oneida Copeland.
Miss Lula Reed has returned from Dallas, where she went for surgical treatment.  She was accompanied by Miss Rubye Goodnight, who had gone down to be with her during her convalescence.
Miss Alma Morrison, who has been visiting friends and relatives in the community, returned home Monday.
The members of the Woodmen Circle enjoyed a pleasant social meeting last Friday afternoon.  Ice cream and cake were served to the enjoyment of all present.
Mrs. O.V. Smith of Sherman is visiting, Mrs. M.B. Francis.
H.L. Groner and family have been visiting relatives at Van Alstyne the past few days, returning home Tuesday.
