December 7, 1896 Grayson County Sherman, Tex., Dec. 6 - Two stores were burglarized at Luella, Grayson county, last night and the following goods stolen by unknown parties: two pairs blue pants, cost mark L.L. . . . several pairs black socks, branded "extra heavy"; several suits of men's fleece-lined underwear, fine goods; two black "beaver" hats, branded "M.B. Francis" on sweatband; one snuff-colored "beaver" hat and one black hat, Leopard brand, with eyelet ventilation holes in sides, several pairs buck and undressed kid gloves; about $10 worth of plated jewelry; about $7 in small change and about 100 copper cents; one 32-caliber Harrington & Richardson pistol, nickel-plated, one box 28-caliber Smith & Weston pistol cartridges. Reward of $15 for arrest of thieves. Reward of $15 for recovery of stolen goods. Address A.E. Hughes, sheriff Grayson county.
