Friday, March 29, 1918 pg. 7 KENTUCKYTOWN NEWS Mr. and Mrs. B.D. Shook and daughter, Miss Gladys, of Whitesboro visited Mrs. F.E. Vittitoe and sister, Miss Allie Shook. T.J. Falls, of Ranger, and other relatives are guests of Rev. John Skaggs and family. Judge Steed of Sherman spoke to a large and appreciative audience Sunday afternoon on food conservation. Mrs. Cobb has returned home from the Sherman Sanitarium where she underwent an operation some two weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Claud Phillips were Sherman visitors Monday. The War Council meets at this place every Thursday night at 8 o'clock. Come out and learn how to help your Uncle Sammie. Be loyal to your country. It behooves the United States to show the Nation where she stands, and it behooves you to show your neighbors where you stand.
