Miss Mary Caylor has had a bad case of grip.
Ernest McCoy and family, Finas Alverson and family and John Chumbley and family are reported sick with grip.
Miss Fae Eatherly has resumed her work as teacher of the Canaan school.
Rev. Oby Nelson of Savoy visited in the community last week and filled his regular appointment to preach.
Miss Allie Shook has returned from a visit in Dallas.
Lonnie Ryon of Ector was in our midst Thursday.
Lester Caylor has returned from a week's visit to points in Arkansas.
M.H. Mullins and family have moved to this community from Canaan.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Caylor of Cannon visited W.W. Caylor and family first of the week.
Jim Bradley and Geo. Garner of Canaan visited Finas Alverson last week.
Ernest McCoy and family spent a few days with Dock Alverson at Enterprise.
Henry Everheart has been real sick for several days.
Mrs. John Chumbley is up again after a seige of grip.
Dock Haliburton and wife visited relatives at Whitewright Sunday.
John Chesser of Kentucky is visiting his sister, Mrs. Finas Alverson.
