Joe Parrish and family of Sherman visited T.N. Parrish Sunday.
Edgar Thrasher of Bells has moved to this community.
John Everheart of Bonham visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Everheart Friday.
Rev. Sheehan visited P.J. Russell and family Wednesday.
Miss Mollie Everheart of Canaan visited Miss Fae Eatherly Thursday night.
Misses Arlie Hassler and Rosalee Martin visited Miss Belle Taber.
Wheat is doing well, the cotton crop is nearly gathered.
 Our school, under the superintendency of Miss Eunice Turner is getting along nicely.
Miss Myrtle Harris attended a reception given by Mesdames Tom Barbee and Lucian LaRoe at Whitewright Friday.
Bro. Abe Nelson of Greenville filled his regular appointments here Saturday and Sunday.
Mrs. M.R. McCoy and daughter of Big Springs and Mrs. D. Gray and son, Bryan, of Trenton have returned home after a visit with Ernest McCoy and family.
Quite a number of our people attended the funeral of F.C. Christian at town Saturday.
Mrs. Finas Alverson and son, Cecil, visited relatives at Ector last of the week.
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Blanton and Mrs. C.D. Alverson of the Canaan community spent Sunday with Ernest McCoy and family.
