Friday, March 12, 1920 pg. 4 Kentuckytown News Mr. and Mrs. Sam Vittitoe of Madill, Oklahoma, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Vittitoe last Wednesday. We are glad to state that Henry Phillips is able to be up after a severe case of pneumonia. T.N. Parrish and Donny Caylor were on the sick list last week. Miss Allie Shook has returned from Dallas. Bob Chumbley and Floyd Harris were Sherman visitors Saturday . Mr. Hugh Ballew of Decatur, Alabama and Miss Eva Forrest of this community were married at the Kentuckytown church Sunday afternoon, February 29th. Only a few relatives and friends were present to witness the ceremony which was performed by Rev. L.E. Teague. Miss Eva spent her childhood and early womanhood days in old Kentuckytown, which made her recall to mind the old song, "How Dear to My Heart are the Days of My Childhood." To known Miss Eva was to love her and her many friends congratulate her on having so wisely chosen her life companion. Mr. Ballew is one of Decatur's most promising young men. He is editor of the Decatur News and is also connected with other newspapers and is also connected with a seed house at Memphis, Tennessee. This happy young couple will make their home at Decatur. We congratulate them and wish for them all of the joys and happiness this world affords.
