Philadelphia, June 18 - Balford Morrison of Hagerman, Texas and Mary Johnson of San Antonio, have been chosen as the 2 Texas young people most representative of American boyhood and girlhood, the SesquiCentennial committee announced today.  Mrs. Ella Little of Temple was chosen as the Texas teacher that has done the most of the pupils of her state.

FATHER OF TEXAS' BEST BOY PLACED IN SHERMAN JAIL

Denison, Sept. 14 - W.A. Morrison, postmaster at Hagerman, has been placed in jail at Sherman on charge of issuing post office money orders without receiving proper funds.  He is father of Balford Morrison, selected as Texas boy best fitted to represent boyhood of America at SesquiCentennial exposition at PHiladelphia.
