HAGERMAN
Light rains have been falling for several days.  Grain is beginning to ripen and some are already cutting their grain.
Mrs. W.N. Smith was a Denison visitor Thursday of last week.
H.A. Murrow has sold his restaurant to C.H. Reid.
Dr. and Mrs. Bradford of Pottsboro were visitors at R.H. Jewell's Wednesday.
Harry Morehead, recently from overseas duties, was demobilized at Camp Bowie Thursday and returned at once to his home here.
Mrs. S.C. Beam returned home Monday week from McKinney, where she has been in the Caldwell sanitarium for the past 8 weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Preston of Denison were here on  business Thursday.
Miss Nora Smith of Sherman spent Thursday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Smith.
T.J. Root of Sherman was a business visitor here Wednesday.
Rev. and Mrs. S.P. Farler and son, S.P., Jr., mingled with friends here Thursday.
Rev. D.K. Porter, presiding elder of Sherman district, filled his pulpit here Sunday, May 25.
Mrs. A.E. Dryden returned from Sadler Tuesday after a few days' visit with relatives there.  Mr. and Mrs. H.G. Gardner and son, H.G., Jr., were Sherman visitors Sunday week.
Mr. Gardiner has just completed some valuable improvements on his home on East Tiller street.
Messrs. Potts, Gudgel and Greenup of Pottsboro attended church here last Sunday week.
Mrs. G.W. Scott and daughter, Miss Ruby, attended the graduation exercises of the Sadler High school Monday night .
Miss Clyde Hankworth of Sadler was the guest of Miss Bettye Morehead last week.
Miss Alta Wallace of Sadler spent Sunday with friends here.
Our voting box carried in favor of prohibition and women suffrage.
Wm. McDonald of Sherman was a business visitor here Thursday.
Messrs. Steedman, Morrison, and Gardner attended the good roads meeting at Gordonville recently.
Me. and Mrs. H.L. Brewster and family of Pottsboro spent Saturday and Sunday with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Scott.
W.A. Morrison was a business visitor in Burkburnett Friday.
