Georgetown, Texas, March 27 - Farm work is progressing nicely.  Since the green bugs have left oat sowing has commenced anew.  Early corn is up to a nice stand.  Irish potatoes are up and ready for the plow.  Cotton is being planted earlier this year than ever before, all working to head off the boll weavil.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Crause of Sherman spent the latter part of the week here.
Mrs. Essie Hosford and children of Denison spent last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hull.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cheatham have removed from Denison to this place.  They are with the former's parents at present.
Miss Dennie Bragdon has returned home after a visit with relatives here.
Miss Louise Utiger spent last week in Pottsboro with her sister, Mrs. Jim Bryant.
There was a surprise party at the home of Mr. Bostic Saturday. All report a most enjoyable time.
The W.O.W. supper Thursday night was a decided success, there being about 150 present, including a number of visitors from the Pottsboro camp.
