Denison Daily News
Sunday, May 16, 1880 pg 8 W. H. Bean The Courier suggests the name of W. H. Bean, of Farmington, as a candidate for the legislature. The Democrat cheerfully adds its endorsement. There is not a man in the county that would more honestly, earnestly and faithfully discharge his duty with and whole duty than would he. With Field from Denison and Bean from Farmington, the county would be well divided. We will take a senator from Whitesboro, and a floater from Kentuckytown, if you please, and ask no favors. We hope Bean will consent to make the race. The sacrifice would be all on his side but he can afford to make it. - Democrat Farmington History Susan Hawkins © 2024 If you find any of Grayson County TXGenWeb links inoperable, please send me a message. |
