 Ethel picnic grounds
Spring Creek Rd. comes out to dead end at Ethel on FM 902. Go west, come to a little jog in the road. Go past and come to a creek bridge. Look north on west side of the creek to see the former Ethel picnic grounds. There is a small shed built there now, but Lee Scoggins said there used to be a fairly large gazebo there that was used as a stage for bands to play from and speeches and political debated to be held.
