ELY and ENTERPRISE
Mrs. Jim Russell and children visited Mrs. J.D. Russell in Whitewright one day last week.
Mrs. Ethie Melugin visited her sister, Mrs. Henry McLean, near Ector Sunday.
Mrs. Myrtle Hughes of Dallas is visiting her mother, Mrs. George Wade.
Mrs. C.A. Wilson and Mrs. Lonnie England were Ector visitors Monday.
Robert Allison and little daughter, Bonnie Ruth, of near Blue Ridge were in this community one day last week.
The children and friends of W.A. Smith of near Ector surprised him with a birthday dinner Sunday.  Uncle Bill was 61 years of age.  Those going from here were G.V. Smith and family; T.D. Booher and family; W.C. Brown and family; and E. Harrison, wife and little son.  Dinner was served to 34 persons.
Quite a few from around here attended the singing at Mahurin Sunday afternoon.
Frank Smith has returned from Houston.
