The junior member of the firm of Standifer & Eppstein, is a native of St. Joseph, Missouri; removed with his father's family to Texas in 1876, locating in Denison; his early education was secured in the public schools of this city; graduated from the law department of the University of Virginia, and from the Yale law school. Upon his return from college, he began the practice of law in the city of his adoption, and for 2 years has been associated with Hon. I.M. Standifer. Mr. Eppstein devotes his attention more especially to civil practice, in which respect he is eminently successful.
