Sunday, September 27, 1885 pg. 10 OUR SALOONS THE PARNELL If you wish to indulge in something cooling and refreshing in the way of cool beer, julips, toddies and choice drinks of any kind, pay your respects to P. O'Donnell, the popular proprietor of the Parnell, Main street, corner of Houston avenue. DEPOT EXCHANGE This is one of the best equipped saloons in Denison conducted in first-class style. Bar supplied with the best of wines, liquors and segars. Mine host George Braun is proprietor. BROWN AND HOERR carries the finest line of liquors in the city, have the best class of customers. When you want something that is really good, call at Brown & Hoerr's, "The Cabinet". OUR BEER AGENCIES ANHEUSER-BUSCH The Gazetteer would call the attention of the public to the special announcement of Anhauser-Busch in this issue. The reputation has made for itself both in Europe and America is wonderful, gold medals being awarded to the makers at the Paris Exposition and at the Philadelphia Centennial. Mr. Burrill Carter, the polite and gentlemanly manager at this point, warrants this beer to keep in any climate, though its popularity prevents it from keeping very long anywhere. No beer is drank more than Anheuser-Busch's, and certainly none deserves higher praise. W.J. LEMP is represented in Denison by W.A. LaBeaume. Lemp's beer has a wide reputation, and both his bottled and keg beer stand a No. 1, and is warranted to keep in any climate. LaBeaume knows a good then when he sees it, hence his appointment as agent for this popular beverage. Denison Saloons Copyright © 2024, TXGenWeb.
