Feb 3 - Born to Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Kirk, a baby girl.

Feb 6 - A corps of engineers started out to run a preliminary line of the Denison & Sherman Railway.

Feb 8 - Walter Kretsinger purchased the residence of Ed. Love, on Gandy street for $1,250....The wife of J.J. Curry, who resides three miles south-east of the city, gave birth to triplets.

Feb 10 - A two story house on the corner of Lamar avenue and Walker street, was burned.

Feb 11 - J. Weisman & Co., dry goods merchants, sold to Collat, Wagner & Risser, of Calvert, Texas.

Feb 13 - A burglar entered the residence of Fred O'Maley and stole his $125 gold watch....Four engines for the Fort Worth & Denver Railway passed through the city.

Feb 14 - A frame building belonging to Tom Foley, on Morgan street, burned....City Secretary Tom Kennedy and Miss Nina Davis, of Richmond, Texas, were married at the latter place.

Feb 15 - The little four-year-old son of A.R. Loebstein, died of scarlet fever.

Feb 16 - Mr. C.L. Potter, of Gainesville, and Miss Dixie Crooks, of this city, were married.z

Feb 17 - The Denison Fire Department received a check for $100 from the Missouri Pacific Railway company for services rendered on the morning of January 13th.

Feb 18 - Stella, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Shaw, died....Miss Mamie De Vana, aged twenty years, died.

Feb 20 - The new furniture for the city hall arrived....M.J. Franklin died at his home in the west part of town.

Feb 21 - A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Williams.

Feb 25 - John Smith and Miss Lizzie Martin were married by Rev. Boyles, at the Christian church.

Feb 27 - Mr. Jap Wilson sold two of his fine residences on Woodard street.

Feb 28 - Charley Clymer purchased three residence lots on Day street....A man named Winstead died very suddenly at his home on Owings street.

Feb 29 - J.R. Greenhill, ticket agent, and Miss Laura Egbert, of Greenville, were mattied at the latter place.
