L. E. Thompson, manager of the local lumber company, was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, in 1906. He lived there for a number of years, and received his high school education in that place. He worked in a number of towns in Texas and Oklahoma before coming to Collinsville four
and one-half years ago. Mr. Thompson has been married for the past six years and is the father of one child, Robert Louis Thompson.
