W. J. McGaughy, who conducted a mercantile business in Collinsville for the past 20 years up until recently, has spent practically all of his life here. He is a retired merchant and he and Mrs. McGaughy have one son, George.

George McGaughy, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. McGaughy, was born in Collinsville Jan. 15, 1904. He was reared and educated here. He has worked here in his father’s store until recently.
