Mr. and Mrs. Orville Walker of Sherman were guests of Mr. and Mrs. D.E. Mode Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Reno Snyder attended the funeral of her brother, Ernest Cole, at Akers Chapel Monday. G.W. Johnson was in Anna on business Tuesday. Mrs. W.B. Francis was in Denison Sunday, visiting Mary Jo Francis. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Strong attended the funeral of Smith J. Reecer at Sherman Tuesday. Mrs. Jewel Morrison visited in Howe Monday. Mrs. A.H. Wright visited Miss Nell Bennett south of Whitewright Sunday. Russell W. Bryant accompanied Rev. Alex Mooty to St. Louis, Missouri Sunday night, where they attended the International convention of the Disciples of Christ and visited relatives, returning Thursday afternoon. Will McCoy accompanied Jim Akers and spent Friday and Saturday on a tour of the Panhandle and Plains area. Mrs. Mary Hughett and Mrs. Jack Reeves of Dallas visited in Howe and attended the funeral of Quinn Horne in Sherman Tuesday. Miss Mame Roberts and Mrs. J.C.
