Tuesday, August 22, 1906 pg. 3 Cedar Mills Cedar Mills, Tex., Aug. 20 - H.. Hayes is visiting his son, Minter Hayes, of Quinton, I.T. The young folks enjoyed themselves at a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Davidson Thursday evening until a late hour. Cotton has a fine growth. The worms are injuring some cotton fields in this vicinity, while in other fields they are doing no damage. Mrs. Dora Overstreet of Oklahoma, who is visiting her mother, Mrs. Mary Johnson and other kindred in this section, has been very sick during the past week. Mrs. Sarah Huff, who sold her farm in this vicinity recently has gone to Childress county and purchased a farm of 320 acres at $12.50 per acre. She will take possession of her new farm about January 1, 1907. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hill visited relatives near Whitesboro Sunday and Monday.
