A physician was summoned from here Wednesday to attend Jess Pace of the Cross Roads community. Mr. Pace was suffering with a severe knife cut in his left side just b elow the ribs, which was inflicted by Dave Tate, another citizen of that community. The two men are both s ubstantial farmer citizens a nd have been neighbors and friends for many years. The difficulty came up unexpectedly in an argument at the Cross Roads store. Mr. Pace's wound is not considered dangerous.
