A heavy rain fell here late Sunday evening, which the farmers hated to see. The crops are fine, but if the rain continues, we are afraid of insect bothering. So we are in hopes fair weather follows for some time.
There was no singing Sunday night on account of the rain, but a very good attendance was had at Sunday school.
Miss Mary Ayers spent Sunday with Misses Katie and Ruby Burk.
Mack Chadwell, Wesley Burk and Remey Turner visited friends in Randolph Sunday.
Misses Lila Mae and Gladys Smith were guests of Miss Reva Lee Hopper Sunday.
Miss Bennie Ooton of Savoy visited Miss Gladys Smith Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom White and children of the Enterprise community, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison and son and Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Smith of near Savoy were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Smith Sunday.
Carlis Marlow visited relatives in Bonham the past weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Alverson and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Chadwell visited in the home of Rev. Little of Howe, who has been ill for some time, Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Marlow, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Burden of near Manurin, and Mrs. J.H. Hopper visited in the home of Mrs. O.H. Hopper the past week.
Wilburn Hefner was a guest of O.H. Hopper Sunday evening.
Grady Hansard visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Burk Sunday.
Miss Bertha Blanton of near Enterprise was the guest of Miss Reva Lee Hopper Sunday evening.
Mrs. J.H. Hopper visited Mrs. W.M. Sims Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Low of near Tom Bean are visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Sims.
Little Johnnie Lee Hopper spent Sunday with Elma Hopper.
Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Pearson and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Mynatt, and Mrs. Elmer Marlow were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Haliburton, Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Marlow Saturday night and Sunday.
Rayburn Hail of Bonham spent the past weekend with Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Mynatt.
M.B. Woodson of Dallas spent the weekend with his father, J.C. Woodson, of near Bells.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hicks spent Sunday in Bonham with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Renfro of Sherman visited Mrs. J.R. Burks and Mrs. Ernest Jay Sunday. Mrs. J. Hash, Mrs. Renfro's mother, returned home with her Sunday evening.
