Dec. 28 - Wendell Wilburn, who has been confined to his room with an attack of rheumatism the past week, is improving.
Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Alverson spent Sunday with their son, F.E. Alverson.
Misses Lorene and Inez Alverson entertained on Saturday evening with a small Christmas party .
A.G. Meador and family, P.R. Henley and family of Bells and J.H. Garnder and family of Orangeville spent Christmas day with J.D. Garner and family.
W.L. White returned Monday from a week's visit in Russellville, Kentucky.
J.W. Taylor visited relatives at Ivanhoe last week.
Sam Hodge of Ely was a guest of George and Lafayette Garner Sunday.
W.L. White and family, F.E. Alverson and family and Mrs. Wilburn and family enjoyed a Christmas tree given at the former's home on Saturday evening.
George and Lafayette Garner visited in Trenton during the holidays.
