The District Singing Convention will hold its next session on the 5th Sunday in December at the Presbyterian church in this community. Arrangements are being made to entertain a large crowd and it is to be hoped that songs of better taste will be used.
W.L. White and family and George Garner motored to Pilot Grove Sunday.
F.E. Alverson and family visited at Bells Sunday afternoon.
Earl Allison of Ely was a guest of J.D. Garner and family first of the week.
The young people of the community enjoyed a singing convention at the church Sunday afternoon.
N. Coffman and family of Savoy were Sunday guests of relatives here.
Geo. Garner visited at Bells and Sherman Sunday and Monday.
A revival meeting will begin at the Methodist church the third Sunday.
J.F. Dixon and wife and daughters of Whitewright were out to see J.D. Cox and family Sunday.
