Bryant King's new bungalow is under construction.
Jim Everheart of Sherman is having a barn erected on his farm in this community.
Breaking stubble is the order of the day from the number of sulky plows to be seen at work.
Bryan Holcomb spent Saturday night and Sunday with Lafayette Garner.
Homer Sears was in Dallas Saturday.
F.E. Alverson and family visited at Leonard Friday.
Earnest McCoy and family of Kentuckytown and George Garner spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Alverson.
W.L. White is at Shamrock buying grain.
Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Lankford visited G.S. Ryon and family of Elm Grove first of the week.
Mrs. J.E. Rutledge spent Monday with Mrs. J.D. Garner.
Miss Maggie Hicks visited Mrs. W.L. White Monday.
Mesdames C.D. and W.W. Alverson spent the day Monday with Mrs. F.E. Alverson.
Mrs. J.H. Garner and children of Orangeville visited relatives here Monday.
Mrs. L.N. Taylor is visiting relatives near Pecan Gap.
Such beautiful days has summer, use them while you may, measuring up precious treasures, meanwhile the loiters play, ever ready to render some good deed, rising to a higher and loftier way.

A light shower fell here Monday morning and was followed by a cool north wind in the evening.
The Methodist-Presbyterian revivial began Sunday. The Gideons, a band of Christian workers, of Sherman conducted the services Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. A large crowd was present at both services. Rev. Buck and Rev. Kirkpatrick will do the preaching to which all are invited to attend.
Mrs. E.C. Harris and daughters, Misses Eva, Roma, Jewel and Lee Mae, of Whitewright visited friends here Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Hardcastle of Kentuckytown spent Sunday with Chas. Alexander and family.
Miss Velma Kirkpatrick of town spent Sunday with Miss Mollie Everheart.
Will Nolen and family of Cherry Mound, F.D. Garner and family of Ely and John Mills and family of Ladonia were visitors at the home of L.E. Garner and family last week.
Mrs. W.W. Alverson and children are visiting relatives in Paris this week.
Messrs. J.Q. Adamson of Sherman and T.P. Wells were Sunday guests of J.H. Cox and family.
Miss Susie Wells of Bells, Messrs. Joe Doughty of Sherman, O.D. Muncy of Pecan Gap and J.H. Garner were Sunday guests of J.D. Garner and family.
Miss Mollie Everheart visited Miss Velma Kirkpatrick of town first of the week.
B.F. Bufford of Sherman spent Sunday with Jim Everheart and wife.
Geo. McCunley and family of Bells visited J.W. Taylor and family first of the week.
