Sunday, November 19, 1899 pg. 4 LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Thursday, November 16 - The Phillips Hotel of Bells was burned last night about 8 o'clock. The building was erected by J.N. Phillips about 18 years ago and was still owned by him and operated by his daughter, Mrs. Kelley. The hotel was one of the landmarks of this place.
