April 30, 1925 Below we publish a table showing at a glance just what rates of postage are levied under the new law on the different classes of mailable matter. The table is in such form as to make it worth clipping and keeping by all who may be interested. It is taken from the Gunter Star.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
*First Class Rates Remain unchanged - 3 cents per oz. or fractional part thereof. *Government Post Cards - 1 cent. Other private post cards 2 cents. *Everything (except first and second class mail) weighing up to 8 oz. is 3rd class mail - 1-1/2c for each 2 oz. *Everything (except first and second class mail) weighing over 8 ounces is 4th class amil or Parcel Post. *Except that books, catalogues, seed, bulbs, plants, roots, and scions, weighing not over 8 ounces - 1/2 cent per ounce. *All Parcel Post (except that collected on R.F.D. Routes) requires 2 cents extra in addition to all other postage. *All special handling 25c extra in addition to all other postage, on Parcel Post which gives it 1st class handling over regular Parcel Post.
