LOCAL CONDENSATIONS
Thursday, February 27, 1896 - John Wisdom, the lad sent from Denison to the county poor farm, is giving the county and Sherman city officials no little trouble. The lad states that his mother is dead, that his father is in the pententiary, and that he has no relatives known to him. While in Denison quite a number of gentlemen at different times tried to reclaim him by taking him to their homes, but each endeavor was a positive failure. The good seems to be entirely eliminated and his whole being possessed of the devil.
