San Antonio, May 6 - A negro named Porter White was arrested by the city authorities to-day for the theift of a pistor from a Mr. Gray. White escaped from the Poor Farm, where he was serving out a fine for whipping his wife, and leaving appropriated the pistol to his own use. He is now in jail and will have a hearing to-morrow.
