The man with rheumatism and unable to move about only in a chair, and who resided on South Fannin avenue near the cotton mill, has been sent to the poor farm.  For twenty years or more his wife had supported him as best she could.  They have lived in a little one-room house but the premises all looked tidy.  The woman sold milk and took in washing.  She was also the receipient of charity.  It is alleged that the man was very abusive and that she was unable to put up with him any longer.
