May 11, 1904 Special to The News. Benton McMillian Elevator at Whitewright Burned. Whitewright, Tex., May 10 - The Benton McMillan elevator burned here tonight, the fire being discovered about 6 o'clock. The elevator was full of corn and oats, none of which was saved. The building and machinery were valued at $6,000 and were insured for $3,200. The contents were insured for $5,000.
