Archibald Conoly, b 1798 in Virginia, d May 20, 1861 in Falls County, Texas - was married on July 12, 1832 in Giles County, Tennessee to Mary Sarah Angeline Price, b 1815 in Tennessee, d March 1867 in Falls County, Texas - a daughter of James and Mary Dunlap (Howe) Price, and a sister of John Hamilton Price who had settled previously in Falls County about 1856. Archibald Conoly settled in Falls County with his wife and children in 1859.

Archibald Conoly was a Boot and Shoe Maker, by profession. He and Mary were the parents of fourteen children - all born in Giles County, Tennessee prior to their move to Texas:

James Larkin Conoly, b August 16, 1834 in Tennessee, d July 13, 1878 in Kosse, Limestone County, Texas and buried in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin, Falls County, Texas. He married in Tennessee, ca 1857, to Elizabeth M. (maiden surname unknown), b ca 1838 in Virginia. James was a merchant in Falls County, and also established the J. L. Conoly Mercantile Business in Kosse, Texas. He served as County Judge in Falls County. James and Elizabeth had five known children: Clara Conoly b 1858, James Conoly b 1860 who died young, Georgia Conoly b 1862, John Conoly b 1864, and Emma Conoly b 1869.

Narcissa Conoly, b November 14,1835 in Tennessee, d in May 1839 in Tennessee.

Mary Catherine Conoly, b August 6, 1837 - no further information.

Virginia Susan Conoly, b February 8, 1839 in Tennessee-married a cousin, John Conoly, b 1832 in Virginia.

Ann Elizabeth Conoly, b January 1, 1840 in Tennessee - married J. R. Morris, b 1832 in Tennessee - a son of Henry and Mary Morris.

John Price Conoly, b November 24,1841 in Tennessee, d February 8, 1865 while serving in the Confederate States Army during the Civil War as 4th Sergeant in Company B - Lancers.

Clay Crittendon Conoly, b December 1, 1844 in Tennessee - married Alice (maiden surname unknown). He was in business with his brother, James Larkin Conoly, in Kosse, Texas, and also ran a hotel. Clay and Alice moved to California, where his son, William, was born in 1869 - returning to Falls County in 1870. They subsequently moved to San Antonio, Texas. No further information.

Williams Silas Conoly, b August 2, 1847 in Tennessee, d January 1, 1903 and buried in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin, Texas - married October 20, 1870 to Mary Jane Keesee, b July 1, 1849, d June 15, 1930 - a daughter of William Calvert and Mary Elizabeth (Bennett) Keesee.

Esther Adeline Conoly, b October 20, 1844 in Tennessee - married April 22, 1868 to Marcus Marion Coleman - a son of Henry B. and Nancy Coleman.

Infant Conoly, b & d October 20, 1850 in Tennessee.

Millard Webster Conoly, b November 3, 1851 in Tennessee - no further information.

Martha Isabella Conoly, b April 1, 1856 in Tennessee, d October 24, 1857.

Lillian Lula Conoly, b February 4, 1859 in Tennessee - married A. C. Prendergast, and resided in Waco, Texas. They were buried in Oakland Cemetery there.
