(Dardiman) Collier, b April 25, 1869, d March 12,1933 at Lott and both buried in Clover Hill Cemetery at Lott - a daughter of Judge Dardiman of Coryell County, Texas.
On October 6, 1928 in Falls County, Texas, Fred was married to Frances Springfield, b November 20, 1911 in Robertson County, Texas - a daughter of Fletcher Langston and Alice Drucilla (McDonald) Springfield. Her daughter said her mother changed the order of her names, as she did not like the initials her name made as Drucilla Alice McDonald.
Fred was a used car dealer and operated a grocery store in Lott, and they were members of the First Baptist Church there. They were the parents of four children:

Shirley Joyce Collier, b 1933 in Lott - married Odell Melton, and lives in Dallas, Texas.
Bobby Fred Collier, b October 20, 1936 - was a graduate of Lott High School, where he played football. He earned his B.S. and M.A. degrees, and has been a teacher and administrator in Rosebud - Lott Independent School District - principal at Chilton High School, and in 1986-1987 will be Principal of Lott Elementary School. Bobby was married to Joyce Jean Tindle - a daughter of Charles and Lennie B. Tindle of Lott, and they have one son, Charles, who married Sherri O'Donnell of Hillsboro.
Jerry Jansing Collier, b 1940 at Lott, was a Lott High School graduate. He married first to Betty Jo Newby and had a daughter, Tracy Collier; and Jerry married second to Betty Lou (maiden name unknown), and they live in Tennessee.
