Surnames: COHN, COONE, KUHN, RICHEY, REED, CASEY, RAY, WILLIAMS, BROWN, PHILLIPS, WILLINGS, NORWOOD, HICKS, CAMPBELL, WINKLER, KUBIAK, BOLIN, SAXON, FIFE, FILLIP, MOORE.Charles Cohn (used that spelling instead of "Coone"), b February 1, 1370 in Falls County, Texas, d September 22, 1931 in Falls County - was a son of Bernard Asher Coone (also spelled Cohn, and originally Kuhn) and his wife, Flora B. (Richey) Coone. Charles married in Falls County, Texas to Mary Jo Reed, b September 18,1877 in Falls County, d in June 1936 - a daughter of John and Eliza (Casey) Reed. When her mother died, Mary Jo ("Mollie") and her sister, Louisa Jane ("Lula") Reed, were reared by James R. Cohn (Charles Cohn's brother) and his second wife, Amanda (Casey) - who was a maternal aunt to their mother, Eliza (Casey) Reed.
Charles and Mollie lived in the community near Taylor's Chapel, and were buried in that cemetery with many of their relatives. They had seven children:
Ollie Cohn - married Leonard Allen Reed - a son of William T. ("Wick") and Alice (Ray) Reed, and lived on the Annie Mae Casey Road. .
J. Clinton ("Clint") Cohn, b July 31,1902, d December 1, 1975 and buried in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin, Texas - married Bessie Williams of Lott, b January 24, 1903, d July 16, 1978 - a daughter of Anderson Mannon and Dicey Aileen (Casey) Williams of Mississippi who settled in Falls County, Dicey was a daughter of Rufus and Nancy (Brown) Casey, who also resettled in Falls County and buried in Taylor's Chapel Cemetery. Clint and Bessie had four children: Roy Neal Cohn, Sharon (Cohn) Phillips, Ray Dalton Cohn, and Dale Merlin Cohn, b 1941, d 1950.
Joseph Bailey Cohn, b May 8, 1906, d June 5, 1955 - married Alma Geneva Williams, b January 15, 1909 at Lott, d February 23, 1984 - a daughter of Anderson Mannon and Dicey Aileen (Casey) Williams, and had Billy Joe Cohn who married Barbara Willings, Elmer Gene Cohn who married Betty Jane Norwood, Charles Cohn who married Mary Ann Hicks, Norma Ruth Cohn who married first to Marshall Campbell and second to Bill Winkler, and Leslie Cohn who married Clara Kubiak.
Frank Cohn - who married Reva Bolin, and had Rodney Cohn, Wanda (Cohn) Saxon, and Larry Cohn. Robert Leonard Cohn, b November 1, 1914 - married January 26, 1936 to Mattie Mae Fife, and had four sons: Gary Lynn Cohn, Ernest Dwain Cohn, Donald Gene Cohn, and Kenneth Doyle Cohn.
Mary Evelyn Cohn, b May 29, 1917 in Falls County, Texas - married Woodrow Wilson Fillip, and had three children: Darrell Fillip, Joel Fillip, and Donna Fillip.
Warren Cohn, b February 22, 1921 - married Lotus Moore and had Carol Ann Cohn.
