Long.The couple lived near Chilton where their four children were born:

Vera Edith Byrd, b April 24, 1907 married Jesse Bernie Davis.
Marvin Wilburn Byrd, b May 30, 1908 married Cullie Peeples.
Alma Lois Byrd, b September 27, 1910 married Floyie Adams.
