On January 22, 1860 in Tennessee, Arthur married Telitha Jane Driver, b August 25, 1843 in Georgia, d March 5, 1924 and buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery - a daughter of Simeon and Mary Ellender (Fleming) Driver. Arthur P. and Telitha Jane Brown came to West Falls County in 1877, and settled near what became Rosebud, Texas.

Doss Oliver Brown, b January 20, 1861 in Tennessee - married Alice Scott, resided at Lott, Texas, and had Florence, Lula, Virgie, Ethel, James, Ruth, Marvin, and Robert Brown.
William Artermere Brown, b April 18, 1862 in Tennessee, d July 29, 1866.
Charles Brown, b September 7, 1866 in Tennessee - no further information.
Mary Ellen Brown, b September 6, 1868 in Tennessee - married on December 3, 1885 to Emmitt Robert Scott, and resided at Cedar Springs. They reared eleven children: Lola Ellen, Minnie Lee, Martha Eliz-abeth, Lena Ann, Robert Emmit, Willie Mae, Nell, Reese R., Zula B., Rubin, and Arthur Scott. Emmitt Robert and Mary Ellen (Brown) Scott were buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery.
Emma Jane Brown, b December 11, 1870 at Memphis, Tennessee, d June 3, 1939 - married James Lewis Stuckey.
Annie Eugenia Brown, b July 10, 1874 in Tennessee, died 1965 and buried in Clover Hill Cemetery at Lott, Texas - married A. Eif Garrett. After Eif's death, Annie Eugenia moved to Lott to rear her eight children: Lela, Estella - who married Hillary Barganier of Lott, Vera, Jewel, Willie B. - who married Eugene Shelton of Lott, Leola, A. E. Jr. ("Buddy"), and Woodrow Garrett.
James Robert Brown, b April 20, 1876 in Tennessee, d December 9, 1963 - married Martha Ainsworth, and had two children who died in infancy. Martha taught school 1909-1915 at Pleasant Grove, in Falls County.
Clair Brown, b February 4, 1879 in Falls County - a twin, d April 11, 1966 - married first to Sarah (maiden name unknown), and had a daughter, Allie Mae Brown. Clair married second to Mrs. Katie Denson Reaves (widow of Daniel Reaves), and lived in the Rosebud-Travis area of Falls County. By her first marriage, Katie had one son, Earl Reaves.

Edna Brown, b February 11, 1882 in Falls County - married Edward Turner and moved to Oklahoma.
Margaret S. Brown, b May 6, 1885 in Falls County is - married James Aday.
Elza Brown, b June 21, 1887 in Falls County - married Gladys York, and lived near Lott, Texas. They had eight children: Ray, Jane, Margaret, Faye, William P., John Westley, Mary Lou, and Billie Jean Brown.
