Frances Sullivan Bouchillon
SURNAMES: BOUCHILLON, DOOLITTLE, MARROW, MOSLEY, HOOD, WILLIAMSON, LAWLESSFrancis Sullivan Bouchillon, b ca 1830 in South Carolina, d after 1900 in Falls County, Texas - was a son of John Bouchillon, b ca 1800 in South Carolina, d 1880 in Falls County, Texas, and his wife, Elizabeth (Doolittle) Bouchillon, d 1871 in Falls County. Their ancestors were French Hugenots who came to America on the vessel, "Friendship," which landed at Charleston, South Carolina on April 12, 1764.
About 1856, Francis was married to Jane Mahalia Morrow. In 1871, the Bouchillon family, including their parents and two surviving children of four, come to the Durango area of Falls County, Texas, where they lived for over twenty years. In 1897, Francis bought a farm adjoining his son-in-law, Robert Lang Mosley. Francis Sullivan and Jane Mahalia (Morrow) Bouchillon had seven children:

Samuel Campbell Bouchillon, b July 20, 1859, d July 23, 1860.
Alice Ophelia Bouchillon, b September 12, 1862 in Mississippi, d May 12, 1911 - married a Mr. Hood.
Mary Frances Bouchillon, b April 14, 1864-married August 23, 1881 to Robert Lang Mosley.
Margaret Elizabeth Bouchillon, b January 7,1867 in Mississippi - married Daniel Williamson - a son of John and Martha (Jay-Mosley) Williamson. Their daughter, Minnie Williamson, married Frank Lucius Lawless, of Lott, Texas.
Robert Newton Bouchillon, b October 14, 1869 in Mississippi, d February 10, 1932.
John James Bouchillon, b July 14, 1873 in Durango, Falls County, Texas, d Juno 6, 1949 - married Nelia Pearley Bouchillon, b February 2, 1872, d November 18, 1912 and buried in Clover Hill Cemetery. A son, David W. Bouchillon, b 1894, d 1962, and was buried in Clover Hill Cemetery.
