Walter E. Borden, b 1879, d 1951 and buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery in Falls County, Texas - was married in 1901 to Nettie Stem, b 1883, d 1963 and buried by her husband. They settled in the Lott area of Falls County, where Walter did carpentry work and is credited with building a storm cellar for Dr. Marshall A. Hayes, Sr., and a cistern on the Schiller place. Walter and Nettie were the parents often children, with seven still living in the Lott area:

O. D. Borden, b 1905 - married Johnie White - house and had Billy Dan Borden, b 1937; Betty Kay Borden, b 1941; Earlyn Ann Borden, b 1944; Cheryl Gwen Borden, b 1951; and Eva Joan Borden, b 1954.

Mozine Borden, b 1906 - married 1935 to Ida Erick, and they had Robert Borden, b 1939; James Earl Borden, b 1943; Nettie Helen Borden, b 1947; and Fred Lee Borden, b 1950.

Fannie B. Borden, b 1909 - married in 1924 to Lee Deward Lambert, b 1904, d August 29, 1981 and buried at Powers Chapel Cemetery in Falls County - a son of Lee Brown and Bobbie (Masters) Lambert; and had Dorothy Lambert, b 1924; Mildred Lambert, b 1927; Lorraine Lambert, b 1927; Joyce Lee Lambert, b 1931; Billy Joe Lambert, b 1934; and James B. Lambert, b 1943.

John Lee Borden, b 1913, d 1985 at Rosebud - married Doris Evans and they had Patsy Borden, b 1948; Robert Gene Borden, John Nelson Borden, and Rodney Wayne Borden.

Paul Borden, b 1915, d 1971 at Abilene, Texas - married Alice Midleton and had Walter George Borden and Donald Paul Borden.

Gladys Borden, b 1918 - married 1943 to Richard Wright and had Pamela Wright, b 1944; Richard Wright, Jr.; and Mike Wright.

Jack Borden, b 1920 - married in 1938 to Ruby Gibbs - a daughter of John Morris and Anna Pearl (Porter) Gibbs, and had J. D. Borden, Ruby Pearl Borden, Scarlet Gene Borden, and Tommy Borden.

Louise Borden, b 1922 - married Eldridge Brown and had Eddie Ray Brown, Lamar Brown, Sandra Lynn Brown, and Cathy Brown.

Billy Edward Borden, b 1924 - married Sadie McIntosh and had Billy David Borden and Sharron Gale Borden.
