Berry, Sr., b 1878 in Gurley, McLennan County, Texas, d 1961 in Falls County, Texas. He married Elner Lampkin, b April 12, 1914 at Satin, Falls County - a daughter of Perry Lampkin, b July 5, 1893 in Falls County (deceased), and Ardelia (Williams) Lampkin, b May 12, 1893 in the Rocky Hill Community near Riesel, Texas.
Johnny is a 1978 retired grounds keeper at Baylor University. He has been a faithful member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church at Satin, where he is a Deacon. He was the first president of the Brotherhood when it was organized in 1940, and to this date in 1986, he continues to serve in that capacity.
Elner is a housewife and has been a member of the Eastern Star - Lillie Esther Chapter 324 since 1945. She has been a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Satin since childhood.

Mrs. Elouise (Berry) Estelle, b September 5, 1943 in Satin - is deceased.
