Cornelius Moore Anding (called "Moore"), b August 30, 1904 at Rosebud, Falls County, Texas -- was the youngest of four children of Martin Alexander and Julia Moore (Watkins) Anding, II, and a maternal grandson of Napoleon Bonaparte and Carolina (Moore) Watkins, and great grandson of Cornelius Moore, who came to Milam County, Texas ca 1851, leaving his family in Alabama. He subsequently moved to Wilderville, Falls County, Texas.

On August 22, 1923, Moore was married to Lela May Williams, b August 2, 1907 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, d September 23,1971 -- a daughter of Orange Derwood Williams, born in Falls County, and his wife, Margaret Catherine (Brown) Whitehouse, the widow of Charles J. Whitehouse who had a son, Millard Fillmore Whitehouse, b August 15, 1897.

Moore is a farmer and rancher in the Wilderville Community of Falls County, and resides in the built ca 1882 by his maternal grandparents, N. B. and Caroline (Moore) Watkins. He has always been interested in community and public affairs, both in school and in the county.

Moore and Lela (Williams) Anding had three children:

Julia Catherine Anding, b August 8, 1925 at Wilderville, married first on June 29, 1944 to Nathan Pierce Littlejohn, b June 24 in Shantung, China -- a son of Reverend John T. and Marguerite (Pierce) Littlejohn. They had Natalie Anna Littlejohn b November 27, 1947, who married Andre Jean Dubbeling and had Paul Moore Dubbling, b May 1972 in Austin, Texas. Natalie is a lawyer at Reynold's Aluminum Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Julia Catherine married second in Roswell, New Mexico on May 25, 1953 to Wayne Winton Bayless, Jr., b in Cassville, Missouri -- son of Jodge W. W. and Nettie Blanche (Dirickson) Bayless, Sr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had: Wayne Winton Bayliss (sp), III, b June 13, 1954, in Hobbs, New Mexico; Maureen May Bayless, b October 5,1957 in Mercedes, Texas; and Mary Blanche Bayless, b November 23, 1964 in Houston, Texas.

Betty Jo Anding, b March 1, 1927 at Rosebud, married October 20, 1951 to Carl Paul Geyer, III, b October 1, 1921 in Marlin, Texas -- a son of Carl Paul and Laeta Grace (Youngblood) Geyer, Jr. They had two children: Betty Jill Geyer, b August 7, 1953 at Big Spring, Texas, who married January 10, 1974 to Calvin Gregory Scott and had James Gregory Scott, b July 13, 1979; and Paula Moore Geyer, b February 9, 1956 at Mineral Wells, Texas.

Cornelius Moore Anding, Jr. b March 5, 1933, married on August 8, 1952 at Franklin, Robertson County, Texas to Frances Lee Philipps, b August 4, 1936 -- a daughter of Edgar and Agnes Emma Bertha (Schultz) Philipps, of New Baden, Texas. They have Laura Lee Anding, b September 19,1955 at Longview, Texas, who married June 27, 1981 to John Harrison Reichenbach; and Cornelius Moore Anding, III, b July 1, 1957 in Dallas, who married August 23, 1980 to Cindy Lee Oliver.

After Lela's death, Moore was married second to Mrs. Lorene (Barganier) Price, who had four children by her marriage to William Archer Price, Jr.; William Eugene, James Earl, Virginia Elizabeth and Mary Ann Price.

Moore and Lorene made their in the house built in 1882 by his grandparents.
