Lawrence Nicklas Allison, b February 11, 1949 in Richmond, Indiana--is the son of Hoyel Broadus Jolley, b May 21, 1921 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and his wife, Dorothy Erma Cramer, b November 17, 1923 in New Castle, Indiana. The couple had four children, Lawrence (called "Larry"); Cynthia Louise, b September 28, 1946; Deborah Kay, b June 19, 1951; and Lydia Ann, born and died June 26, 1952.

When Larry's mother remarried on July 15, 1956 to Frederick Louis Allison, b March 21, 1933 in Waterbury, Connecticut, the children were adopted by their step-father; and the Allisons had two other children: Anita Lynn Allison, b October 10, 1959, and Frederick Irving ALLISON, B August 11, 1968.

Larry was a 1967 graduate of Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California, where the famil had moved in 1959 to a suburb of Los Angelees. Larry moved to Texas in 1982, and worked as a warehouseman.

On meeting Jack Killgore, of Rosebud, Falls County, Texas, Larry was offered a job in Rosebud, to learn the business of antiques and collectibles; and he has established himself in that field.

Larry Allison is a member of the American Pottery Association, Southwest Pottery Assocation, Falls County Historical Commission, and the Rosebud Sesquicentennial Committee. He serves on the Rosebud City Council--being elected in 1986, and is a member of the Rosebud Chamber of Commerce. He is of the Protestant faith.

Since moving to Rosebud, Larry Allison has been active in all city and community projects.
