ORGANIZATIONS
People of Marlin and vicinity and their organizations have consistently
supported educational programs and served their schools and children with
watchfulness and zeal. The Marlin Rotary Club, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce
and Agriculture, Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) and other civic and
service clubs have encouraged and supported the schools and boys and girls; they
have provided material support not authorized by school officials; they have
enheartened youth to participate in their activities and appear before them to
discuss their needs and problems.
Information as follows concerning
organizations more closely related in spirit and purposes to the schools reflect
phases of the schools' history.
