Lott High School
|
Margie (Patterson) Webb with her students when she was a teacher at Lott High
School. She is on the front row, far left hand side of the photo.
Front Row From Right to Left:
Margie Patterson Webb, teacher
Dorothy Phillips
Nora Lee Suddeth
Clara Priest
Mary Elizabeth Ruble (my mother)
Unknown
Eva Lee Rushing
Second Row:
Tennie Lee Ruble (my aunt)
Next 5 are unknown
Eileen Lamour is on the right end
Tennie remembers that this is a pep club and that the boys in the back are the
football team. Tennie Lee and my mother were not in the same class and therefore
she believes that it could not be a class picture.
Note: Mary Elizabeth Ruble and Tennie Lee Ruble were sisters.

Lott School
2nd & 3rd Grade
1910
|
The
sign says : 2nd to 5th Grades Lott School Oct. 1910.
I believe my Dad, Horace Edward Dickson, is on the second row, 6th from the
right with his chin in his hands.
He was born in Lott, Falls Co.,Texas on May 16, 1902.
On his second grade report card it has his teacher being Fay Yeldell. This may
be the teacher in the picutre but I am not certain of this.

W. G. Kirkscey
|
W. G.
Kirkscey son of Thomas
Cicero and Bernice (Barnett) Kirkscey, played football for Lott High School.
This is a picture of him wearing his school Lettermen Sweater.
W. G. Kirkscey was born May 25, 1913 in Belfalls, Falls Co., Texas, d April 12,
2002 and is buried in Memorial Park South Woods Cemetery in Memphis, Shelby Co.,
Tennessee. He married Mamie Bernice Davis on October 16, 1934 in Waco, McLennan
Co., Texas.
This picture was not dated, but was probably taken around 1930 I would guess. He
would have been about 17 then.
